Fish Virginia Organization Meets at Fairystone Park-Stuart
2/12/10 - The Fish Virginia First organization held their monthly board meeting at Fairystone Park, near Stuart, VA on Feb. 12.
This organization is workinig on a project to heavily promote fishing in over 40 counties in Virginia where fishing is a great tourism attraction.
They have 3 key objectives:
1. Create and advertisement brochure
2. Create a new website promoting fishing in each of the member counties
3. Hold at least 1 fishing tournament event per year.
Their funding comes from donations from the member counties and municipalities, Virginia Tobacco Indemnification Fund and Virginia Travel
